He looks a lot better than I expected him to. I mean, fresian/foxtrotter? That's WEIRD, man.

I wonder what he'll look like when he's older.

His head looks almost as big as the rest of his body.

WHY? Is all I can think. Those breeds don't exactly complement each other.

I greatly dislike Friesian crosses to begin with; the FHANA association and European Friesian horse registries do not allow crossbreeding; they want to keep the Friesian breed pure. By crossbreeding, that stallion owner is ensuring their stallion will never be accepted/inspected in the main stud books, which greatly disappoints me as a Friesian enthusiast.
Though... If one crossbred a MFT and Friesian, I'm thinking this isn't a major concern...
The foal is very disproportionate, and my best bet is that will only become more apparent as he ages.

I will add to the list of people asking why would someone think this is a good cross.

Well, we think she is adorable and have had a few offers for her already. But she is definitely not for sale. It is a beautiful horse. Sorry if you don't agree.

Did you breed her yourself?

Just wondering what made you think to cross those two breeds?
