identify a Pado Fino

I am looking at a little gaited horse that I think maybe a Paso, and naturally the seller is telling me she is a Paso, since this is what I'm looking for, but is there a good way to tell?

Unless there are papers, no. You can just go off of the way it moves and if it resembles a Paso.

Its hard to give you an opinion without actually seeing the horse.
