Just a year so far, but a year of very consistent use between two different horses.

The thing I noticed with the Robart bit was that, in the center point of the mouthpiece (which is where I had trouble with the Imus bit) connects differently. Even if it were to loosen like the Imus bit, it would not leave the same sharp, flat edge and opening simply because of the way those pieces fit together.

The Robart walker bit I have is this one
Robart Pinchless Jointed Walking Horse Bit - Top Quality Robart Walking Horse Bits

I have had it for 2 years, bought it used and it is still in great shape.

Before that I tried the Myler high port and my horse hated it after I had spent $95. Then a friend told me about the Robart and now every bit I have is a Robart. They are so well priced and stand the test of time.

I'm so glad you all are using the Robart's Gaited Horse bit! Just renamed from the Tennessee Walking horse bit! Hopefully, in the near future I will be doing a demo video with Dave on how the bit works and why it is a fabulous choice for the gaited horse....all breeds! I've used this bit since it first hit the market and the results I see in my clinics when I switch bits to this one are nothing short of amazing. Dave has a quality product....I'm still using the first the bit I purchased over 8 years ago!
