I scratch my head at walker crosses, They don't gait, but they usually trot like a walker, IE bone jaring as all get out. Go ride that one at a trot and you'l see what I mean. Too many good walkers out there that do gait for good prices. If I wasnt interested in a gaited horse I would look for a sturdy QH. Tons of them out there as well."
I have a beautiful QH that this woman is intersted in. Trouble is, she is arena awesome and trail crazy. But after some of teh horses I have seen lately, she is looking better all the time. Trouble is, everyone else will be on the trail and I will be stuck at the farm.
And yes, she is a horse trader, found that out today,..not too happy abou that but it is a beautiful facility in Ocala. She has a trainer and vet on staff.
I already turned down one pony, and she offered me a Conerama(???) for 2 grand plus my horse. THe pony is about 13.3 and one hell of a jumper,..but unless we are crossing logs and walls ( none in FLorida,..not stone walls anyhow) the pony although beautiful would not serve me well.
My QH is a beautiful grey who goes into collection with the flick of the wrist, she is truly awesome, but not a good fit.
So, I continue to look.
THere are loads of 14.2h TWH down here, and crossed with a Fresian would not that account for the size,..or not???? I had never even heard of a Fresian cross untill today. I thought that this would be a good place for advise and info,..and I'm glad I came here with my question. :)
