I have owned two Friesian crosses, one a QH/Friesian and the other a Saddlebred/Arab/Friesian,whom I still have and probably will her whole life, she's that awesome of a horse! Both proved to be great horses;energetic but not crazy, lots of stamina, very smooth to ride, easy keepers, smart, level headed, easy to work with, just all around nice horses. Any Friesian crosses that I have seen or ridden (which is a few) have always had lovely floating action,so maybe that is something that tends to come out when you cross them..?

Draftyariesmum, I really like the look of your guy :)

Our horses are the same age, should be interesting to see how big your guy gets. My guy is from a Friesian Sire x Panit/Percheron,TB/Morgan Mare. 15.3 at the moment.

Thanks. He's a big butt-hole right now, but I love him anyway.

He's decided that he's 2 (almost 3), 16.2hh (at least at the butt...closer to 16.1hh at the withers) and that he needs to be in charge.
