cameras are a godsend! Through that lens you'll always find something to work on.
Get some video and even post that for some pointers as there are plenty of knowledgable people on this site in the TWH area who have great advice. Utilize all your resources when you're learning because this is a challenging breed, also very rewarding when you get it right, at the end of the day it is a lot to take on training and learning at the same time. You've got a horse who has the basics for you to work with, and so you're not starting from a horse who doesn't walk at all, he definitely like you say, has the potential. :)
