My first gaitedhorse

I fell in love with a MFT "Galinae's Lil Gusto aka Gus the Bus;).
He has the 2 walks and a sweet trot and a God awfulel trot (pace). It is difficult getting him to canter dincr he hoes into the pace. He canters beautiful in the pasture. Going to try the variouso cues today.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Congrats! I don't ride MFT, but I am sure as with most gaited horses it's just going to take practice and working on their balance to get a good canter. Pics please!
