I would like to introduce my mothers horse.

His name is RDI Amante. He is a 20 year old Peruvian Paso. In his younger years he was a performance stallion after that a breeding stallion for many years. But at the age 17 his owner got into contact to my momma and said that she had a great confidence boosting stallion that would make a even greater confidence boosting gelding. So we went to see him and he was givwn to us for free. It has been 3 years since this and my momma is riding A LOT.

Now onto describing his personality. He is a goofball. He will look at mud puddles and his own shadow like they are monsters about to eat him. He also has VERY good training. As I said earlier he is reliable and trusty.

Here is a picture that kind of shows his goofballness. He is looking at the mud.

And more pictures..

And my favorite picture of him,

He reminds me of a friend's Peruvian paso gelding that I used to ride in high school. Biggest difference was Charmer was a dark bay. Charmer was a stud until he was 13 and was a fairly successful show horse (locally, at least), but the owner's wife got cancer, so he sold off all his stock so he could spend more time with her. He gave Charmer to a vet tech that I worked with (for free), but she couldn't do anything with him because he hated her for some reason. He loved me, though, so I got to do everything with him (grooming, riding, etc).

His look at the mud is more like "Ewwww! You're making me stand in mud!" (said in a whiney voice)
