My new paso fino, having trouble tracking pedigree number

Just got a gelding,..beautiful,..allpapers appear to be in order.
However, I cannot find any info on the horse himself, only on every other name in his pedigree.HE is from South Carolina with his birth place stated as Puerto Rico. Being a gelding, it obviously is not for breeding,...but when a horse comes with papers, the ' back-tracking' should be very clear. I can't even find his registered number any where.
His number is up in the 40,000 mark with the registration number.
Any body have any knowledge here about how to track down his registration? I have used all of the usual avenues to do this,..pedigree info and all. I can trace everyone back but him.
His dam was Hija del Pirata, sire was El Chino de El Batey. They go back to Capuchino and Kofresol.
I would just like to know all about his lineage and his true origin.
What a terrific little horse he is,..beautiful and people oriented. Sweet!
Any ideas anyone?

Here is a video of the sire: I think he's down here somewhere in Florida. You might contact Cheri Prill of Stunning Steeds photography (she's the gal in the video) and they might help you. Or, at least get you in touch with the owners.

Best of luck. Btw, Cheri is a sweetheart and I think a good resource for you.
