    Thanks CatrinaB87. I've been watching him and looking back at some older videos and have not spotted any gait. So I'm kind of up in the air about what breed to look for, for a companion. Gaited or quarter??........I 'm more confused.......

    I would go for any breed, so long as the temperament suits you :) Of course, I happen to be partial to paints, and he DOES have pinto markings, soooooo

    I'm located in Missouri.
    I like the paints too! I guess I'll expand my options and look at non-gaited too. Thanks, for the replies!
