Paso Fino?

So I have, a the opportunity to free lease with the option to buy 14 month old Paso Fino colt. I've always been a fan of them and have a friend who has 3 of them. I've personally never owned one... Once full grown and trained, can they carry a man? (My other half is 6'2" and about 160lbs)... Are they good on trails? Any tips or advice?

A lady I used to train for bought a Paso for her husband. He was a big guy, and quite clumsy in the saddle. The Paso carried him easily, and was a GREAT choice for him because of the smooth gaits.

My 14 hand paso does great with at 200 pound load. Weight carrying capicity is not just related to size but more to conformation.
