He is similar to my boy Romeo... he is 13months and 14.1 and expect him to make 15.2 :) what breed is he? he is gorgeousssss - i will defo say he will reach over 15hh i would guess 15.2 he is very leggy...!! i tried the rope test and it predicted romeo to be 15.2..... with a rope you measure the distance between their elbow and their hocks - the distance from their elbow to their withers should be the same when they are fully grown!!

His sire is Homegrown, Chocolate Venture is his grandsire. Royal Flush is the Dam. I string tested him from his mid knee to the top of his hoof and it was 15 and a half inches. I think that means 15.2 hands. I may be wrong.

He is pretty leggy, for sure, I think he will hit at least 15.1 eventually. It's relatively rare for a Rocky to get over 15.2 IME, though. Very good looking boy! I'd love to see him squared up on level ground:)

He is gorgeous :) My draft cross gelding was 14.3 at 11 mos. and ended up at 18 hds. I did the knee to coronet band and it came out at 18 inches. Your boy has at least 3 more years of growing to do so I bet he'll hit 15+. Love his color!

Very nice confirmation. Has that wonderful short back, he will be a mover. He will hit 15.2 easily if that is his height now. You will have fun watching him go through the changes. At the age of 3 mine looked like he would never fill out again and all of a sudden at the age of 4 I had an extra horse he filled out so much.

A woman can NEVER have too many horses.....

He will make 15 hands from my experience. He's a very pretty boy, though.
