I remember seeing them in late 50's and early 60's as they showed at same shows Saddlebreds did, alternating classes. And can remember well when they started into the horrific hands, and more invasive soring and shoeing too, as the stands would virtually empty when their classes were called.

And the good ones??? Those ears would be flopping with the nodding head and some of them? You could hear their lips smacking too.
