It's unfortunate that he's being promoted as a great walker, people who don't know much about gaits are going to believe that that's how a walker should move. Or worse, breed to him. The last thing TWH's need are more pacy horses.
The Jacksons have been pushing Watchout for many years. He's a nice enough horse but is pretty average. None of his get have demonstrated any real excellence in anything.
The Jasksons, themselves, are interesting folks. But, like many interesting people, have many sides.
The '99 Celebration entry was a publicity stunt. It's an open question whether is was well done or not. In any event it had exactly zero impact on either the Celebration or the discussions about the BL or Sore Lick. Indeed, an argument can be made that the way it was done caused problems for others trying to start a reasoned discussion of the whole thing.
Not everything is always what it seems to be.
