16 hand max 14.2 minimum with the exception of fillys certified before they're 3 yrs old, and they can be no shorter then 14.0 hands...

Bought another horse sunday...picking him up saturday...

Stud Grandsired by Nuncio on top and Grandsired by Ginger on the bottom...

We will see how long he stays a stud and how long we keep him...

Great gait and easy going Nuncio attitude...

He was a gaitin machine, too forward for me though.

Volz' has some really nice stock. My old mare Dolly was originally Volz' Dolly.
And yes they are very forward movers. Finally at the ripe old age of 21 (someone needs to tell her that) she does move slower if you keep her behind someone.

Our boy just turned a year and hasn't dropped yet. He is getting to that squirrely stage where he wants to see what he can get a way with. This little guy gaits, does not trot when he moves quickly. He looks smooth as silk. Can't wait til spring and he sheds the ugly fuzzies he has.

I will be very interested in his temperament as he gets older. If he behaves we may keep him a stud and sell him if he turns out to be worthwhile breeding stock. If not he will meet the vet.

My little red chocolate is getting that way, he's learning really quick what he can and can not do, be a yearling in may and bosses and picks on the Freisian he's in the field with...

And I havnt broke him the news yet that when he drops he will be meeting the vet, or I may let him keep them untill he is done training so he builds good muscle and keeps a pissy attitude...

I love the Rocky Mountain and Kentucky Mountain horses! If I ever buy another horse it will be gaited! I think they are gorgeous!
