And by the way, I love me some Saddlebreds and some Arabs and I wouldn't dream of doing any of the stuff I listed. It just sickens me that some people will go to that extreme, in any breed, just to win.

So, Palomine, can YOU tell which one is the Arab? And don't name names if you recognize the horse(s), I want to have a little fun with this.

Saddlebreds = the people pleasingest horses I've ever been around.

I get a big smile every time I'm fortunate enough to ride one.

I can't believe this post wasn't removed for that comment. *I* wouldn't be offended by people calling my favorite breed ugly but based on experience I've got a thicker skin than just about anyone here. And IMHO, there isn't that much difference in appearance between show saddlebreds and show Arabians. I think the look they go for in saddleseat is ugly no matter what the breed.

HL65, to be honest I'm not a fan of saddlebreds OR arabs. But you know what, they all have their purpose and their fans. A TRUE horseman & horse lover doesn't have to LOVE every breed, but you can be guaranteed they at least appreciate other breeds.

A jack wagon trainer is a jack wagon trainer. What breed they choose to target has nothing to do with the breed itself. Pretty pathetic that the concept still needs to be explained to people.

Well- You all could back off because it is MY opinion and no one is going to change that.... I don't like the way they are treated, I don't like the way they look and that's my opinion... You all can have your opinions or beliefs and I won't judge you....

As with my horses, you are allowed to have an opinion. It is how you express that opinion that matters.

You will be met with the SAME attitude that you present. Don't insult us and tell us to "back off" when we respond defensively. Better yet, don't insult us at all.

You say you won't judge us, and yet your posts on this issue have been nothing but false judgements. I would be happy to quote you. The only judgement we have made on you is that you know NOTHING about the breed. Which you do not. Clearly.

This is a FRIENDLY place. Negativity, insults, and hatefulness have no place here. Please go elsewhere if you cannot be nice.

If you're going to be immature, rude, and thoroughly obnoxious, you will be judged - and deservingly so. As a first post on any forum - or any public setting for that matter - like what you posted, I can only hope that you have no intentions of ever being taken seriously for anything else you will ever say in the future. That certainly won't be happening.

Obviously doesn't know her Arabs either. I haven't heard from the OP on which one of the 2 horses I put up is the Arab and which is the Saddlebred. If she's such an expert, I'm sure she can tell.

Kinda thinking she didn't get the jist of my post either, so you're not alone.
