    Thanks for the info. With all of you saying saddlebred, I'm going to have to ask the guy I got her from if he knows of any saddlebreds around that she could have come out of. He hasn't told me much about her background, only that whoever he got her from dumped her on an "old strip job" (strip mined land) and nearly let her starve. I think he might have some idea of who had her before that. There aren't a lot of saddlebreds around here, mostly TWH, standardbreds and quarter horses, but it only takes one.

    I think she looks more Saddlebred, than walker, but maybe that's just me! She's very cute though, and I love her dappled pally coat

    Thanks! She loses the dapples in the summer, but her coat came back so much darker this summer compared to last - I love it. I fed her a lot of paprika and carrots over the winter to hopefully darken her coat, but it may have nothing to do with that. She'll have more shade this summer, so hopefully she'll stay dark.
