Congratulations! I just got a new horse too so I am experiencing the same excitement! She's a beautiful horse and color, too. I am fond of dark bays, obviously! Have fun with her!

Congrats on your new TW mare. There's nothing better than owning a horse. I'm from MI too, where did you purchase her from?

    Green Broke
Hmm, is she really bay, or like a chocolate chestnut (or whatever they call it)?

I bought her from Joy Smith, in Hamilton. West of Grand Rapids. She wasn't listed for sale, but I was given Joy's contact info thru a friend who knew she was considering selling this mare.

Color-wise, her papers say she is a bay but my vet and another friend think she's a sun-bleached black. She doesn't have the darker points like a bay, she's really an even dark chocolate color all over her body, with sun-bleached mane and tail.

She's a wonderful horse, we've been having so much fun working together and getting to know each other the past two weeks! I can hardly believe she's mine, I HAVE A HORSE!!!! :) :) :)
