| || | This thread is about soring, which is what my last post was pointing out? Soring IS abusive, no ifs ands or buts... why would you defend it?! It is purposely hurting a horse to get a desired leg action - how is that not wrong? Like I said, this thread is about SORING - not other disciplines or abusive practices... why are you bringing them up?

No, I'm just a tad bit irritated that soring is always something that comes to mind as abusive.
I agree it is, but like others have said, every sport has its own abusive practices. Soring is the equivalent of most abusive practices.
But I'm through talking about it.
