Soring. For it, or against it?

I'm doing a power point presentation on this issue, and would like some people's opinions. I'm against soring for obvious reasons, it'd be nice to hear other people's opinions though.

I'm against soring but I'm also against animal shows in general because what people are willing to do to a breed just to fit some judges opinion of what should be.

Are you really expecting to be for soring? Just curious.

So... What an odd question.

You will be hard pressed to find someone who will raise their hand and say "animal abuse is for me"! Maybe rephrasing the question would get better responses, and more responses.

The people who do sore their horses must be for it, but none would admit it. I hope the USDA continues to come down hard on this issue.

Flat-out against it because it's cruel to the animals. There's a reason that a lot of Tennessee Walking Horse trainers get in trouble with the law for it.

Well, it does happen. But, like I said, you'll be hard pressed to find someone willing to put their hand up and admit to it, and also present an argument for it.

I'll admit; I'm just here to see if anyone goes "OH YEAH, all for it over here! Best training tool I've ever used!"

Well like in the recent Western Pleasure debate every disipline has its wrongs- But if that is what it takes to get a "show ready" horse. Then can we all poo poo on it- QH people (professional trainers) but not limited to other breeds, will get up anybody's arse if they talk badly about their conditioning methods- Which are just as cruel.

*Not for it though- Im natural in my methods.
