Appreciate the update, I am sure when she gets her computer fixed we will see plenty of photos. Don't blame her for wanting to take her time, but once she gets to know this breed she will realize they are real people horses and love to trail ride.

I can tell you that she is a beautiful mare.

BTW, she keeps telling me that she won't be riding this weekend.
Computer problems.
Uh huh... sure.
Me thinks she is so enamoured with the new filly that she is telling everyone to just take a flying fig because she's only got eyes for her.

ROFLMAO YES....I have computer problems and a general stupidity about my new phone. I can't load pictures into my laptop...or my husband's computer, but I can import photos from my new I-phone into his desktop. It just took me awhile to figure it out. And I may not have it straight on this forum yet...we'll see!

Blossom arrived safe and sound on Wed. (I had to work Thur., Fri., go to Perry, GA on Saturday and work this afternoon. I'm beat!) Anyway, she came off a truck with a load of yearlings from the keeneland sale. So she got to be Nanny for a bunch of expensive babies for 8 hours! She was fine! All interested in what was going on around her...a little freaked by some traffic.

She let me groom her and scrape off some bot eggs. She DEFINITELY likes carrots. Later that afternoon, I got to cut a bridle path, but these pictures are of her right off the trailer. I was the only one on the farm and the driver wanted to get those high dollar babies delivered, so I really don't have any pictures of the two of us together.

I'll post more after I get some sleep and I apologize profusely for this delay.
Blossom is a sweetie. I am LOVING this mare!!!

Blossom's Head

I have to get a bit for her and I measured her mouth at 4"????? I knew her mouth was petite but WOW! I'm thinking about a 4 3/4" eggbutt snaffle with a copper french link?... She doesn't need the copper, but I thought she might like it. She's looking tense here, but it was less than an hour off the trailer.

Oh...and she needed a new halter because the one she came in was HUGE. Wait till you see the flourescent hot pink halter and lead rope she's got now! My choices were limited and since she's a flower.....LOL She's going to need a bridle too, and I will probably end up looking for a cob size.
