So I am correct in assuming that all horses that perform "Big Lick" have been sored to achieve this sickening display?

Couldn't be happier that some jail time was given but can't help but feel it should have been more. It's torture, plain and simple. Systematizing the practice and handing out ribbons doesn't change that reality.

Wares I can't say they are ALL sored, but certainly fitted with chains and giant shoes that cause "that sicking display" as you so rightly put it!!! Check this out...

People will argue otherwise, but it is of mostly general opinion that it's impossible to achieve that gait (or at least a WINNING gait) without SOME form of soring. I think when you compare what they're supposed to look like to what they end up looking like, it's a pretty valid opinion.

The guys riding those horses look creepy, all hunched over, evil looking.

Unfortunately that's how the sanctioning body sees it. Hopefully the law they nailed these guys under doesn't see it that way.

I'm not sure when the soring process started. The early champions didn't have quite the exaggerated gait.

This video almost made me CRY. These poor little animals, they're only 2 years old, they should be out in a field, not being tortured daily and paraded out with these 6'0" friggin BEHEMOTHS on them. They can't even RIDE properly because they're so big for their poor undeveloped bodies! God that is SO disgusting.
