We need to register our horses, not get involved in the politics. When you submit names, pick 4 or 5 and do not exceed 23 letters, including spaces. Send the names in as a list in order of preference. They will chose the first one that doesn't match another's. They will promptly let you know if they are all chosen. Most names include something to denote bloodlines.

Thank you so much, your post was very informative and helped me out. I had some name questions and you answered them. So far I have only been able to settle on one name that I truly like, so coming up with several more is going to take a bit lol. Thank you so much for taking the time and answering me, I really appreciate it!

If you register your horse with the TWHBEA, YOU are supporting horrific animal abuse. YOU are part of the problem. This isnt politics it is facts.

Register your horse with the NWHA.

DaisyMae, My first 5 names were taken and they were combinations of three names. I was running out of ideas. The 6th was accepted. Who are her sire and dam?

Joe4d You've mentioned that twice about TWHBEA. It is up to show committees not the registry to control cruelty. We all saw that when a prestigious show lost it's sponsorship and others began to pull their's. That has made them sit up and listen.

The breeder is a Member of the TWHBEA and is registering her through them. Anyways,

Thank you for letting me know about name difficulty. I wish there was a way to know if something is taken beforehand lol.
His sire is Cash's Gold Mine. We were on the phone earlier and he was having signal issues as we were talking about the Sire and Dam, and the registration information. I will text him in the morning and ask about the Dam. I honestly have no way of researching any of it, but hope to be able to soon. But if anyone has info on the Sire that would be great.

What is her coloring? The waiting gets difficult as time seems to drag. Lol

Google Cash's Gold Mine TWHBEA and you will find some info on him. There's a website advertising a Perlino sired by him.

First time member fee is I think 30.00 or 35.00, you get a free registration and a subscription to the magazine for a year. I did that when I registered my mare.
