The front hooves are lifted higher in the air in the rack than the running walk, but not by a whole lot.
Thanks for clarifying; always confuses me. I think I have seen the Largo, if it looks a little like dancing.

Do Saddlebreds count? He's gaited. (But for the life of me I don't know how to do it XD) jk... I have got him to gait before but I loathe saddleseat right now so he doesn't gait like he DID...

Anyone have tips on how to gait him without heavy weights? I usually lean back, pick up the reins, and squeeze with my knees instead of my calves. But he hasn't gaited in about 3 years.

Aww, of course they count. :) I love saddlebreds, and they're my mom's favorite breed. He's very pretty, I love the last picture.

As far as keeping a horse in gait...can't help you much there, I'm still learning.

No! That's amazing, how long have you had him?

A year. He couldn't so much as jump when I got him, and now he jumps 2 feet. But now I need to start gaiting him more. But I don't want to put those awful heavy weights on him. They are a little, in my opinion, inhumane. Plus I'm sure they are pricey.
