Maiya, please refer to rules eight and nine:

8- Please make your first post an introduction in the "Meet the Community" forum.
This is more for common courtesy. We like to get to know our members and have a nice community, and we would love to know a little more about you before you post in the other forums. Moderators have the right to delete a post if an introduction is not made (this is mainly for those who use the board to advertise, then leave).

9- Please do not sign up with the sole intention of advertising.
This forum was made primarily to bring horse people together to discuss and share our horses, and have a safe place to ask questions. If you just want to advertise and leave, there are many other classifieds sites that will work better for you.

We certainly welcome you to join the community on the basis that each member follows the rules. We support these rules for particular reasons to ensure a better forum. I will be locking this post until an introduction is made and an effort to apply to the rules is established on your part. This will eliminate the reason for me to believe you are solely here for advertisement by proving you are making an effort to be an active and participating member. I hope you comply and decide to join the community!

For that reason, please do not incorporate your horse's name into your username so that you are not stuck with a username related to a horse you may no longer have some day, or use any other username you may no longer identify with or care for in the future.
