IHIW you get sick and aren't able to ride for 2-3 weeks and when you get back to riding your horse is fat and out of shape. *sigh* it's amazing how quick they get flabby again.

There is no sport like barrel racing. It requires more speed than a sprinter, more balance than a gymnast, more grace than a dancer, and a stronger team than football.

IHIW you spend like thirty minutes grooming your horse before you ride, then you go trail riding and he gets completely filthy all the way up his cannon bone.

IHIW the first day that I have a sizable audience, Toby acts like a green horse.

IHIW the guy you've called to install your arena has over booked himself and can't tell you when you'll get it done!

I hate it when the weather suddenly changes or a sudden cold front comes through and all of your old injuries ache.

IHIW I'll be walking behind my horse or cleaning his hooves out and he swishes his tail right into my eyes. And it stings like crazy.
