So the title says it all, take yourself and your life, and transform it into that of a horse's. You might look at your natural build, athletic ability, coloring, anything you want. What breed are you? Are you a purebred or a mix? What color? What were you bred for? In your prime what discipline did you excel at? You can use as little or as much detail as you want, you can be an impossible color for your breed or you can stick within the boundaries of realism. It's all up to you how you perceive your horse life.
If I were a horse I think I would have been the result of experimental breeding, probably bred for endurance or competitive trail. I'm a grade that ended up tall and lanky, 15.2-16hh. Based on my hair and eye color in real life I'm thinking I would be a blue eyed, bald faced dun. People might ooh and ahh over my color at first, but it will be pretty clear right away that my color is the only thing good about me. I've got the horse equivalent of asthma, useless ovaries, a bad back, bad knees, bad balance and coordination, and bad eyesight. But don't count me out yet, I can be bossy and want my way all the time but I'm non-confrontational and will bow out and become a very polite and respectful horse in the right hands.
I think I would end up a good family horse. With regular chiropractic care and light riding I will flourish. As I get older I'd make a good babysitter, I'd enjoy taking people out for the occasional weekend trail ride and enjoy a good walk around the yard with a child on my back.
I would definitely be an ideal first horse for a young kid as I got older, but I wouldn't be and would never have been enough to take anyone any further in the equine world than that. I'm a trail horse recommended for very light riding only.
I didn't think that would be quite so long, but anyway, there's the game, have fun with it. C:
I'm a horse with very flawed parents but I ended up okay with very unique green eyes and blonde hair that both change colours slightly depending on the season. I have bad teeth and bad knees, my hip bones pop.. my eyesight is failing as I get older. I'm very curvy and stocky built and not too tall.
I play the lead mare, the 'peace keeper' of the herd and take in younger and older horses without too much trouble. I am very helpful and look out for the herd and my rider.
I have an interesting sense of humor and have trouble trusting people, I'm a bit spooky. I'm very colourful though with a personality to match. I'm teachable and learning fast but sometimes get hung up on things that aren't broken down for me. I treat people well except when they bring harm to those I love, and to myself.. then I'm a downright b*tch.
I don't mind being tied down but like when I'm free to stand tied without feeling trapped. I love to go exploring and trying new things but I can be somewhat of a wimp at times, letting my nerves get the best of me.
I would be the sturdy mix. Definitely the lead mare. Don't take crap from nobody....im tempermental and only certain people are allowed on my back. Im not always the fastest in the rodeo, or the fanciest in the arena but I will be solid and I will carry you through. Im a teacher and a baby sitter. I have a soft spot for little kids and I am trustworthy. As I grow older I may get fiestier. I may slow down and not move as smoothly but you can always count on me.
I'd be a Paint mare, real stocky, but a complete powerhouse.
While I kick ass at rodeos for barrels and roping, I can be very unpredictable. The unpredictability is one of the few faults I have; I will run an amazing pattern/run, but as soon as I see something that tickles my fancy and I'm held back from venturing over, I throw a huge fit: bronc bucks, crow hops, rearing, taking off, etc. Thus, I'm generally allows to roam until we have another run, so that rider better handle the stud I went to flirt with and the rabbit better find a hole before I stomped it.
I'd be a great trail horse though, there would be none of the unpredictability out on the trails, you could put a 5yr old on my back and know they would be safe. You'd know I wouldn't spook at an animal that popped up, but I will chase it off or attack it, depending on my rider.
I'd also love to pull things..logging would be a great job for me, as long as there's no big cart to strap me into, as I'd become unpredictable.
While I'd be unpredictable at shows and in certain situations, my owner's would know what will set me off, and are generally fine with my desire to hunt the rabbits and flirt with the studs/fancy geldings.
I'd be a lovely Grulla with White on my nose/muzzle that looks like I was dipped into a paint can, along with two high, Sabino stockings on my hinds, coronet whites on my fronts, and both a paw print and arrowhead mixed in with the Sabino markings on my underbelly. Posted via Mobile Device
I would be the type of horse that needs a herd leader to follow and would probably be at the bottom of the pecking order, although I can be spirited and playful at times. Probably a tall lanky TB who likes to take it easy and smell the flowers but go for a run every once in a while.
If I were a horse, I'd have the following things:
-I'd probably be a decently fit QH.
-My coloring would be... chestnut.
-I might have a slight mix of TB in me.
-I would be bred for gathering cattle.
-And I would probably excel at western pleasure, barrel racing, and trails.
P.S. This forum was such an awesome idea.. I love it!
I would be one of those plain-jane looking sorrel grades that seem to occupy little farms all over and are rarely anyone's first choice based on looks alone. Probably have some outstanding trait that makes me stand out -- going by my insanely long hair that everyone else seems to enjoy so much, it'd probably be a long flowy mane and tail or somesuch. Haha
But don't judge me on looks alone, because I'm a quick learner and always want to learn something new. I may not have the most stamina, but I'd be quick on my feet and a good sprinter, so probably a good barrel racer, or a fun trail ride.
Definitely not a lesson-horse, and I'd probably be that horse in your barn that could find the one corner in a round, padded room and cut herself on it, too.
