the cowboy rides away.

Oh I'll dance, I will sing and my laugh shall be gay
I will charm every heart, in his crown I will sway
When I woke from my dreaming, my idol was clay
All portion of love had all flown away.

Actually it was Dan Seals but I think the name of the song was correct. My favorite song.

"Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I love you
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy"

Wildwood Flower, Lorretta Lynn

I'm standing at the crossroads in life, and I don't know where to go
You know you've got my heart babe but my music's got my soul
Let me play it one more time, I'll tell the truth and make it rhyme
And hope they understand me

You made me google it! The Carter Family sang it too, I'm assuming before Lorretta? Or are they around the same age? Looks like several people sang that one... Popular song...

Like a honey bee beatin on my screen door
Got a little buzz and my head is sore
From my bed I can feel the sun
Lord, round here the morning comes...

Eric church, creepin

It's a beautiful mystery,
How people find one another,
How we can fall in love.
And we don't know how it happens but it does.
All the pieces fit together and the world stops, yeah.
Nothing else matters.
Oh, nothing at all

Steve Lee Olson now.

Way back on the radio dial
A fire got lit inside a bright eyed child
Every note just wrapped around his soul
From steel guitars to Memphis all the way to rock n roll
Ohh ohh
I can hear em playing
I can hear the ringing of a beat up old guitar
Ohh ohh

Even if it breaks your heart - Eli Young Band

One of these days when my time has come
You can take me back to where I'm from
Put me on a westbound train
An' ship me off in the pourin' rain
Don't cry for me when I'm gone
Just put a quarter in the jukebox an' sing me back home

"Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway." ~John Wayne
