When I go to bed at night, I have to check everything...have to make sure my bedroom door is locked, my heater is away from anything that could make it catch fire, my books are put away, etc, etc. But then I'll lay down, and I'll have the urge to check it again, or I can't sleep. And I do check it. Again and again. This can sometimes go on for an hour or so until I'm finally able to sleep.
