9, nice picture but you lose a point for criticising me over my saddle choice :P I'm an eventing rider, I can't live without my jumping, and it's a bit tricky to jump in a western saddle [though I have!! That's what I used to trail ride my old horse in]

    9 thanks ^-^
Yes I do, and yes it is, and yes I have! Hahaha. It was a dumb fall, my stirrups were too long and I lost one, then the other, and jumped three more fences before my pony shied and I just slipped off. I've had millions of falls training including a few that could have been quite nasty when I was thrown into jump wings, jumps, the arena fence, you name it [I've had three horses that had real dirty stops on them] but only the one in competition.

9 Wow, sounds like if you get into jumping you must expect a few falls huh??
    I won't , first off I'd have to give up my western saddle...*sigh* I can't haha!

9, not really ^-^ I haven't come off while jumping in ages. It's really only if a horse throws in a REALLY dirty stop now. It just takes a while to get the hang of it and if you're dumb like me and push yourself too far too fast you'll come off a lot.

I expect to come off a lot when my girl starts jumping because I'm not going to be able to jump at all between now and then [don't have access to a horse that can, both our fillies are too young and my gelding has retired to a companion home] so I'll be super-rusty and she'll be just starting out so there'll be a rusty jumping rider and a very green young Thoroughbred both trying to work it out together. Uh-oh.

9, I have tons ^-^ you tend to collect them when you go from first horse being a fresh-broke OTTSTB to a really bratty pony back to the Standardbred then on to an educated half-Arab with an attitude and now my little Thoroughbred. I rode for about 7 years on and off before I ever owned but it really wasn't smart of me to get an OTT horse for my first, even a Standy!
