Torrent.
Age: 9 years of age.
Gender: Stallion.
Breed: Mustang.
Eyes: Chocolate Brown.
Coat: Blue Roan.
Markings: Black bald face, black stockings & a lot of scarring.
Personality: Torrent is one of those stallions that you should probably just avoid if you know whats good for you. After a life of hard knocks, he isn't the most social and accepting creature. He prefers to be alone and venture across the landscapes in that manner. He is extremely intelligent, but plays that off with bits of sarcasm and arrogance. Deep down, somewhere in this stud, maybe he just wants to be accepted. But his current state of mind does not allow for such things at this time.
Rank: Rouge.
Mate: None at this time.
Kin: Unknown. He left his heard when he was just 3 years of age. His father when missing when he was just a yearling and he never had the chance to grow close to his mother. Unsure if he has siblings in this world.
History: Not too much is known about this loner. He sticks to himself more times then not and when he does make time for conversation, don't expect to find out much about him.

A creature of elegance, grace and beauty. Strength and the spirit of the wild flows through his veins like crystalline rubies. But a storm wells within. A frame of muscle and legs of limber structure. Ebony hairs trail behind the creature like a warning banner. A breeze casts in the scents of the land, urging the animals direction away from danger. A beast that covers the landscape with ease. Orbs focused and determined for a destination unknown. Ever curious, a scent fills his flaring nostrils; one of familiarity, something known from the past. Equines. Horses. His fellow beasts that he feels so distant and different from. Animals that shunned him from his previous herd and labeled him an outcast. The reason of his pain and suffering. Not all are bad, this he knows, but he cannot get over the darkness that clouds over his past. The blue coated beast skids to a halt, knowing that the others are extremely close. Ears pinned back and sharp breaths filled his lungs. Expanding with an anxious notion that he will not be alone for much longer.

Slender audits flicker toward the exchange of the two mares. Deep pools of chocolate brown watch, gaze lingering on the mare dubbed Sarell. Sleek muscles twitch beneath silken skin as he awaits any command she may have. Silvery tresses cascade along a strong crest as the stallion turns his sweeping gaze across the herd. He watches - noting the presence of each member, liquid eyes scanning the horizon, ever alert for danger.

A quick snatch of ivory incisors clips a mouthful of grass, then the steed becomes motion, beating a two time as he moves around the edge of the herd. Teardrop nostrils flare, catching the breeze caused by his passage, testing for the scent of the unknown. Silky tresses flow behind, pride raising a banner behind the golden beast.

Coming to a halt beneath shaded umbrage, the beast watches once more. Every few moments, the sculpted cranium dips to allow a mouthful of the sweet grasses of the pasture, but with each bite, he returns to a watchful pose for another period of time.

This is the land of the Red Stallion and Sarell needs to be cautious. The herd have stopped in this lush valley on their journey to the mountains, their summer retreat. The winter has been warm and the grass is fresh and green, growing thickly like a blanket over the ground.

The Red Stallion is known throughout the horse lands as the most vicious to lead a herd in one hundred man-years. A comment made by Sarell's mother when she was a young foal which has stuck with her whenever she moves up to the pass. Always be wary. Always be watching.

The lead stallion of Sarell's herd, Shazanzia, is watching from the trees while she dishes orders to the others. Shazanzia is a fantastic stallion. Strong, brave, protective. A brilliant protector of our herd. Then she turns back to Poppy, the enthusiastic mare.

"We'll move today, Poppy. We may make it to the pass, if we can cover enough ground before the moon. The Red Stallion's herd is elsewhere at the moment, but they may return swiftly. These are his lands, after all. Circulate the message to be ready to move, fed, watered, weanlings accounted for, before the sun reaches the mountain peak."

This space has been left intentionally blank.

Marceline looks down from her perch on top of the hill, scanning the horizon for wolves or other predators. She rests a hind hoof, and snorts loudly. Her long black mane hangs in wind-knots from her more "solitary" demeanor. She decides to go for a short run to just be by herself for a while before the herd moves again. Nickering her departure, she trots off towards the foothills, then breaks into a ground eating stride, her mane bouncing with her gait. After a while of running, she looks to realize that the sun is almost at the peak, and that she must get back to the herd quickly. With that, she breaks off in a lope toward home.

Poppy nodded, "I shall announce it" she was an agile, flexible creature. She leaped up to the highest rock in their grazing areas "we will be moving soon, as an order from our leader Sarell, we hydrate and feed as quickly as possible, if anyone feels ill, or injured please report to Sarell or myself" being the most adventurous and curious one out of the herd, she knew what plants made you sick, what made your sick feelings disappear, what would heal wounds and such. If any horse felt sick, since they didn't have a chosen medicine horse like the other herds, she was to help.

(We need to come up with a name for our herd, something like mountianherd or riverherd or something)
