Yeah, that's no fun at all. I would hate coming up with that kind of cash. I've seen it quite a few times with tractor parts though... some tiny metal (or even plastic) piece will cost $150 - $250. If you dig far enough you find out that the prices are set by purchasers in an office who may never see the parts that they set pricing on, so nobody realizes how outrageous it is until the dealers start complaining. That may not be the case here, but it happens. .
That's crazy. You're lucky it happened during the nicer weather and away from the snow...tho it has been raining a lot.
Haha Rich got the plastic in place about 30 seconds before the weather turned!!
It's all fixed now... now I just have to deal with insurance.... *grumbles*
Right now I am very jealous of every one of you living at home without any bills to pay..... ;)
