I actually don't know all that much about it
But the horse is Sleipnir and has Óšinn (Odinn) on it's back.
I just googled Sleipnir earlier.

But maybe none of you are familiar with the Norse Mythology ?
If so then here's a short description of those two formerly mentioned
Óšinn: Sometimes called The alfather. He was the first of the so called Ęsir (Aesir, the gods) with his brothers, Vilji and Véi (I'm pretty sure they were called that)
He created the universe out of a žurs (Thurs, the evil guys), has two ravens Huginn and Muninn that go around the world and bring him news to his high seat, Hlišskjįlf, from where he can see everything. He gave up one of his eyes for a drink from the well of wisdom. He is the father of many other Ęsir. He has many, MANY other names (my former team I used to practise with was e.g. named after him, but a lesser known name)
Sleipnir: His parents are the stallion Svašilfari, which is extremely strong, and the trickster ęsir Loki (many are confused by this seeing as Loki is a male). Loki was in the shape of a mare (a part of another story) and galloped off with Svašilfari, bringing Sleipnir the next day. Sleipnir is the fastest of all horses because he has eight legs. Loki gave Sleipnir to Óšinn.
There is this place here on Iceland called Įsbyrgi, and in it is the hoofprint of Sleipnir Sleipnir's hoofprint in Įsbyrgi Sorry for the slight novel I just looooove the Norse Mythology!
