Today is the anniversary of my last day of military service! I can't believe it's been 3 years since I last wore the Army uniforms I gotta admit, I kinda miss the boots

Time flies, huh?

Oh yeah time flies.

Anniversaries are always somehow bittersweet (at least for me).

"On hyviä vuosia, kauniita muistoja, mutta kuitenkaan, en saata unohtaa,
Että koskaan en ole yksin, varjo seuraa onneain.
Vaikka myrsky hetkeksi tyyntyykin, varjo seuraa onneain.
Ja pian taas uusin hönkäyksin, varjo seuraa onneain.
Hei tuu mun luo, pieneksi hetkeksi. Puhutaan, varjoni, valkoiseksi enkeliksi."

4 months until mine. :(

What did you do?

Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.

Was going towards spec ops, injured (MEB). Now they're trying to get me to go back as a ranger officer, I'm on the fence.

How will you be able to do that as a disabled vet?
