Am I an idiot?

I am a member of another animal forum and I posted a topic with a link to the petition to stop the artist who starved the dog doing it again. Suddenly everyone was calling me an idiot and all this other stupid stuff and saying that I don't know what I'm talking about and they actually STOOD UP for the artist!

Am I really an idiot for standing up for what I believe is cruelty to animals?

This is what I love about horse forum, no ones bashes you or your posts.

Thanks guys.

I can't believe someone would stand up for him As I said in the original post I can see his intent but there has to be another way to bring attention to unwanted animals.
No your not an idiot
Maybe he should have started out with a starving street animal and brought it back to health. That would have made the same statement I think.

You are never an idiot for voicing a genuine feeling or opinion you have about someting, especially if it is for a greater good.

I wont say what forum it was, because it's rather large and even though it looks like I am getting kicked off now I don't want peta to get mad with me again.

Someone even accussed me of wanting the artist to torture the dog just so I could have something to complain about!
