I also suffer from depresion. The doc wanted to put me on meds but I refuse. I went on birth cantrol pills and it helped out a lot. My horse helps me get through every thing, if it wasnt for her I probably wouldnt be here right now.

Hang in there. We are here for you. If you ever need some one to talk to you can always PM me or message me. I'm always here to listen.

Hey all.. Ladytrails thank you for your concern! I am plodding through like an old mare LOL. I guess the holidays and all sort of ran me down. I so appreciate all of the caring posts, didn't mean to seem so glum.. just wanted to vent I suppose. But I have more better days than not I think.

:o) How are all of you doing these days with all of this chilly weather??

Ever since I was old enough to understand bad things, I have had an aniexity problem! If there was a murder on the news that happened a million miles from my house I would freak out, at about 6 years old. As I have gotten older I am a little better ( I can stand to watch the news anyway ) but I still worry over things I have NO control over. In turn I think it has a link to my slight depression that seems to come and go. Its nothing so bad as to need medication, but it still makes the days hard and even the horses aren't on my list of "cheery things to do" some days! I just work through and am trying very hard to change so I can see the BEST instead of always seeing the worst!
I hope it helps to know your not alone!
Also, what is this coldness you speak of ? Come on up to Canada, and I will show you cold! :)

Well. It is more than chilly. You Floridians have the right idea....except I can't imagine how you handle the humidity down there 10 months of the year! Glad to see you back, and poking fun at those of us who are wearing 35 pounds of clothes and boots!

Amblin I know what you mean, sometimes I think we all can slip into that fear factor especially with all of the bad that we see on the news these days but thinking of a happy thought can help. Well you can keep that winter weather up there!! Brrrr!! We got into the teens one week and you would have thought we were going to shut the town down!! LOL!

Ladytrails I tell ya I am not sure how I could do it without A/C!! Oh and at least you have an excuse for that extra weight you're carrying around!! LOL

Had to laugh. You know, we all have the same Pillsbury dough boy waistline when we're wearing sweaters under insulated coveralls and Carhartts! Fortunately, DH thinks I look cute no matter what I"m wearing, as long as I have a muck fork or tractor steering wheel in my hands!
