    Yep. The young gal was "unmasked" several times. She wasn't very bright. There were times we all knew it was her, but strung her along for the fun of it. I believe in the end her IP was contacted also, about misuse and abuse. Try explaining that to Mom and Dad when the IP service is cancelled!

    TaMM, I think all youngsters go through a phase....the anonymous feeling to the internet allows folks to live out who they want to be, rather than who they are. It doesn't take too long to realise that the lies you create hurt more than help. If you are lucky, you just fade away from that chat room or forum. Ashamed. But you grow up and move on, Right? And by admitting you were a dork, ya feel better. I also respect ya for admitting it.

    I'll miss Maggie, she was so sweet! :(
    It's weird though, because I just can't see her doing stuff like that.
    She seemed so like honest.
    But obviously she did.

    Actually, I almost never invented lies but only heckled with inappropriate comments. And the chat room wasn't in touch any forum etc. but only a "wild" chat room where you needed only a nickname, no password or anything.
