And I'm not on Academic Probation or anything... I've just had some problems with having to withdraw dropping my percentages and now my appeal to re-enroll has been denied. Believe me, I've asked the Fin. Aid office, lol.

Basically college level tests for core classes, which have college credit. If you pass then they go towards your core credits in whichever college you are attending.

Cheaper than going an entire semester, likely faster..

Just make sure they're accredited to your school. But so far every college I've inquired with accepts them.

Is correspondence/on line classes a possibility? Perhaps they will be acceptable to the college with regard to credits and they can only help especially if you take them in your field of interest.

Have you looked into employment opportunities for either of those majors ?
Neither seem to offer a very good return on investment.

Colleges aren't as tough as they used to be, but can still be heartless. I was drafted out of college during the Vietnam War, and had to withdraw after the deadline - they gave me all "F's" for that semester, and when I reapplied 2 years later when I got out they denied me entrance on academic grounds. I had to go to a different school. How's that for a thank you?

Thanks for the replies and advice, guys. I'll look into CLEP, for sure.

I went up to the college today, to try and talk to them and see why I was denied, but the lines were already closed and I was unable to speak to anyone that I needed to speak to.

I'm seriously thinking about taking a drive up to the only other community college close-by and talking to them and seeing if I would be able to attend that college next semester.
