Argument paper topic ideas

We're going to be writing an argumentative paper in my English 105 class. I love writing and I think I could do well with this but I need help with picking a good topic! So if you have ANY suggestions, I would love to hear them!

Well, first off. Pick a topic that you like. Especially one you feel strongly about. This will make writing your paper easier. Because I don't know you personally I don't feel like I can suggest a topic for you. But my advice on the picking a topic should help a little.

If you have more questions about writing an argumentative paper just let me know. Those types of papers are my specialty.

I think I want to do something animal, health, or environmental related (those are my best areas), if that helps some.
Tempest-once I have a topic, I may need your help with a good thesis ;)

For or Against Slaughter for profit? For Natural Horsemanship or Against? For Rescue or Not? Euthanasia or slaughter? Regulated breeding or not? TB Racing ok for 2 year olds or no?

Dreamcatcher Arabians, thanks for the suggestions! I considered the racing age one.
But I have decided on should government control what we eat? (I'm going to argue no.)
I need a good thesis statement, and maybe some narrowing down.

Check out John Stossel on government regulation and safety, that should give you a direction to go in:
