Bathing suits for fat gals?

I'm headed to the beach for a couple of days and need a bathing suit. Preferably one with a little skirt or boy shorts. I have a couple of weeks, so that should be plenty of time to buy online. Any suggestions?

Also, I have very white legs. I spend lots of time in the sun...but always with jeans and boots on. So basically, my face, arms, shoulders and well everything that can be seen in a tank top is tan...but my legs are so white that they don't look like they belong with the rest of me . So any advice on tanning lotion that will at least take out the glowing white and not leave me orange?

I've been told that if you rub baby oil on your skin then go out in the sun it will bake your skin to perfection! Haha Sorry, I'm no help.

Lol nope! If I put baby oil on my legs and stayed 5 minutes I'd be burnt . Thanks for the post though, you did make me laugh.

Lands' End has wonderful suits in all styles, including some with suits and boy shorts. They also have a selection of Miracle suits, the ones with industrial strength spandex that sort of holds everything in. I am very happy with the two suits I got from them.

I can't help you with the blue-white legs, but if you figure it out, could you post it? I desparately need that info as well.

Dove has a good gradually self tanning lotion called Summer glow (I think?) which could help?

Try the "Slim-Suit" they actually work and look pretty nice. They are like spanx that you swim in. A little 'binding' but I need it!

I also have glow-in-the-dark white legs and I havent found a thing that works on them. The problem with the self tanners and lotions is the first time you shave, you scrape most of it off. I just let my ultra-white legs shine...

I have a 2 piece suit with a cute little skirtie and a halter style top. I think this looks flattering on most body types. I'm 8 months preggo and wear this style - it looks pretty cute, even with the beach-ball belly.
As for the legs...I have alabaster skin, black hair and blue eyes, so I feel your pain about not tanning. I have had some success with the Dove daily self-tanners as well as with the Sally Hansen spray on. If you use the spray on, stay out of the water if you can. I use it for weddings, etc where I have to go bare legged. Mostly, I just embrace my inner Snow White and let the blueish white legs blind everyone. I look especially strange right now because when you are preggo with a tight belly, the veins show BIG time in the belly and boobs so I am quite a sight in a bathing suit!

I really like the Dove stuff (I'm as white as you, trust me.. my boyfriend's mom asked me if I was wearing white leggings under a skirt once) because you really can't screw it up - when you put it on the first 2-3 times, you don't even think its working. But after 6-7 applications you should be toasty!

I'm terrible with bathing suits...I've been putting off buying one for so long since I've gained weight. But for my white legs, I used Loreal Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer. I also like the spray on stuff. I tried Banana Boat, which wasn't bad if you rubbed it in, but I've heard the best is the Neutrogena spray. Good luck!
