    MHS, this is in your original post: "you could see his ribs." You didn't specify that you could count every rib in his body or any sort of hint to his condition other than that. All I'm saying is that it isn't a bad thing to be able to see ribs in a youngster. You have to remember I did not see the photo, I have nothing but "you could see his ribs" to go off of. It is actually a good thing to see some ribs in youngsters. That's all I was getting at.
    As for (some) Eventers and Racers - in quite a few, you can see ribs. Again, not a bad thing....
