A bird is building a nest in my front yard...

Well today I noticed that a mocking bird was building her nest in a very small and short tree close to my house, she's nested there a few years ago but im worried about the rain. The tree is pretty thin and the nest is close to the ground, but I will watch it to try and keep it safe :P
Its not finished yet and I will try to post pics

I hope it worked, but if you zoom in on the clump you can see her to the left. I'll try to update this often

Barn swallows nested at the top of the wall in the garage. While they were out gathering for the nest, hubby installed a sloping mirror that showed us the inside of the nest and we were able to watch their progress without our disturbing them.

Oooh that would have been fun :)

We have rainbow lorikeets build nests in the huge gum tree in our yard, in a natural hole in the trunk. Generation after generation has been born in there :)

This space has been left intentionally blank.
