I cleaned three saddles this afternoon. If the makers never install Blevins buckles anymore I won't be sorry. The cheap ones rust and seize together. It took longer to seperate them on both sides that to clean and oil the saddle. It's rarely just cleaning as there's often something else needs looking after. The forks on one was showing scuff marks so I went the extra and touched them up with dye to match, a little oil, a little wax - looking good now, but am I ever feeling it. A long tubby soak is in order.
