books

Just curious to see what everyone's favorite genre of books are and favorite books in general.

I adore Science Fiction....fiction...anything make believe.
Some of my favorites are the Narnia series, Inkheart (both Inkheart and Inkspell), Harry Potter series, Eragon (and Eldest), The Lost Years of Merlin, and the list can go on and on.

My favorite authors include(and I reccommend all of them):

R.A. Salvatore(words to live by...)
Mercedes Lackey
Robert Jordan(I CRIED when he died)
David Gemmell(omg "Stormrider" is the BEST!)
Dennis L. McKeirnan
Arthur Conan Doyle
Anne McCaffrey

I have not read that book or anything from the authors. I will definitely check them out at the library.

The one fiction (don't think it would fall into Sci-Fic) that I did not like at all was the Lord of the Rings trilogy...don't know why...I didn't like the movies either

But I would have to say fantasy is my favorite, and anything about horses, except this one book that I read I didnt really like it was about horses it was called....The Hearts of Horses, it was good and had a good meaning and all that but I guess it just didnt click with me, but it was good, I recommend it,
I love harry potter!!! Its amazing!

I have to admit im not a sci-fi fan but I love anne mccaffreys books.

Im more of a stephen king kinda gal. I enjoy him and john saul but john saul I would have to say is a little 'darker' than stephen king but always a good read.

I can read just about anything though as long as it grabs my attention in the first paragraph :)
