    Bullies

Ok I know there is thread about this already, but it was old.

I know it's been a big thing the past few years, but today I delt with my first big one. I normaly am not bothered by them, but this one really hit a weak point.

These are the exact words from a photo of a horse. He is a nice appy, that is used to barrels.

Him: "NO, Not a good horse to purchase. Maybe for some low grade track sprint, but that's about it."

Trainer: "Actually, he is an excellent horse to purchase. He has had much success barrel racing and his two foals have become champions already"

Him: "Yea, Barrel Racing. Like I said $500.00 really. Maybe for some other fool. Anyone with common knowledge can see that this horse has the dogs waiting for him to drop over." ($500 is his stud fee)

Me: "This is a good looking horse. Any one that knew any thing about horses could tell you he is a nice horse."

Him: "In response to _____, I have been a professional Handicapper for 4 years now and have been involved in racing since 1998, so I truely believe that I have more knowledge than you. Just because you are as big as this horse does not make this horse any better than what I stated before . The both of you could not run 500 feet. I hope you do not try to ride these animals. You are way too big for that. Just because a horse can move with you on it does not make it a winner. Stick to what you know. Cheeseburgers and poor decisions. You are out of your league"

    I took my name out.

Ok I don't think I was rude in what I said, it was an opinion, and truth. It's not a race horse, it's a very nice horse. BTW I looked that guy up, and he hasn't had one winner, and the horses on his FB profile are some of the ufliest horses I've ever seen.

What I wan't to know is why would some one attack some one with some thing so personal? He doesn't know me, why would he go to my profile, and stalk me enought to know any thing about me? My profile pic is of my dog, and so is my timeline photo. That means he has gone into my photos. Why would any one spend that much effort in attacking some one?

Sounds like an internet troll, and you gave him what he wanted; you got upset. Obviously someone who is NOT involved in horse racing, as barrel racing has nothing whatsoever to do with regular on track racing.

Some people are just really fraking pathetic like that....theyre life sucks and they think theyre god so they attack everybody else.
Imo the guys that have to attack women or anybody are compensating for some major size issues "down there"

Like I said....his life is little and pointless so he feels the need to make everybody else feel that way.

I've come across many "professional jockeys/trainers/riders" on the internet. They are no more so a trainer/ect than my 5 year old daughter. I caught one kid "trolling" claiming to be a jockey, when I pointed out that they weren't even legal age to take out an apprentice licence, they quickly changed their tune and went quiet.

On another note, alot of racing people may know very litle outside their initial sport. My boss is a top trainer, but he knows sod all about his kid's eventing... and will straight up admit it. He could tell you darn near everything about training a TB, but give him anything else and he'd be pretty close to lost.

Ignore people like this, you'd get more sense out of argueing with the wall. :)

Well the person "trainer" that owns the horse, is actualy a race horse trainer, and is a trainer of a winner. Probably why Mr. Rude troll is on that page to begin with.

Still doesn't explain why he doesn't understand the difference between an on the track racer and a barrel racer. Not even remotely the same thing.

I know less than nothing about barrel racing, and only a bit more than nothing about on the track racing, but I sure as heck know they're nothing alike.

Im not making the connection between an appy BR and whether it would be successful on the track? The horses arent built the same, don't have the same bloodlines, nothing but hey if he wants to sound like a douche bag that knows nothing then more power to him....that just probides more entertainment for me...

And when h e feels the need to attack you after you prove him wrong just shows that
    A. He knows diddly about what he's trying to argue.
    And
    B. He's insecure enough that he has to talk crap about somebody and get the attention off of him instead of manning up and admiting he was wrong.
