They constantly harass me (or the husband does) because he tried to hook up with me once and me and his wife were best friends so I said no and told her about it.

They both made up horrendous stories about me and hate me now.

It still does upset me, because we were so close and now all this happens all the time. They just keep coming after me.

Do you need a restraining order?

How would they like a harassment complaint?

Thank you for feeding us years of lies. Thank you for the wars you left us to fight. Thank you for the world you ruined overnight. But we'll be fine, yeah we'll be fine.

They've never physically done anything they just constantly bother me about their lens or camera and threaten to take me to court.

I dated my first love in highschool for 3 years and we were all friends with these people. We hung out constantly .My boyfriend cheated on me and we broke up after we all stopped being friends, and he kept hanging out with Brian and his wife.

Well, about a year ago Brian called me and said my ex had gotten in a terrible accident and was dying in the hospital and needed to talk to me and would only ask for me.

I got up at 1am and went to the hospital, only to find he wasn't a patient there. He was at Brian's house, at a party....

Just that kind of stuff.

I think you could still get a restraining order or at least file a complaint against them, harassment doesn't have to be physical
BornToRun and doubleopi like this.

Equestrianism; 10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure, 50% pain and 100% reason to remember you're absolutely insane to be riding a beast that big.

I think it may be wise for your to do two things:

1) write down in as much detail as you can remember the camera situation as you described in your post including times and dates if you can remember them plus also include events that happened after the camera was returned (the purpose of this is to provide a record that you can refer to if things escalate and then you are less likely to forget some points if you are discussing with police, etc.) and

2) discuss what options you may have with the police. Even if nothing happens at that point, the information is on file and it may be beneficial if things escalate.

Also, I don't think they can charge you with theft because they lent the camera equpment to you to begin with (it's not like you broke into their house and snatched the stuff) and you handed the camera equipment back to them.

I will try to write everything down! I saved all the messages telling them I don't have their crap.

I just don't want to deal with small claims court.

first- If they took the camera home with them they should of check it out before leaving with it . Second -for all you know they lost the lens or broke it and trying to get you to buy them a new one so NO you gave them back there stuff and it was all there. I have seen this same thing with saddle at stable that are left for years what happen to it you do not know as far as friends go you will have to move on lesson learned

ride a draft and see the world differently
