can't sleep

It's almost 3 am and I can't sleep... sitting here eating a snack cake, watching lifetime movies... Big Boy is laid out sideways and the dog is on his back w/ his little collie feet stuck up in the air... hubby is in another state.... hate that.... want....to...sleep.... why...can't....i...sleep.......

Ooh, wouldnt it be fun to go on a midnight trail ride??????? Sleep.... must sleep.....

I bathed the kittens today, in Dawn because that's what the vet said to use, got all the fleas off them. (Hubby helped before he found out he had to skip town....hate last minute travel) Bathed mama kitty too, it went surprisingly well... wrapped her paws in koflex bandages but she never even tried to scratch, she's so sweet anyway... I put the kittens in a box in the bathroom and she of course moved them, to the shelf.... I'm scared they'll fall but I think she'll just put them back up there if I take them down so I have mega padding all around the floor to catch them if they drop...... I geuss they'll be ok....

I made blackhorse sleep in the paddock w/ the rest of thej inmates tonight... he's not happy w/ me.... but I'm tired of cleaning poopoo out of the aisle of my barn! He walks out of the stall to poop in the aisel so he can sleep in a clean stall!

Ok.......maybe I'll go night night now.....anyone else ever get stuck awake?

It' 3:10 and I can't sleep!! AH!!!!

I can't sleep because I am working. I can't work because my son is in Afganistan and although he is good about keeping in contact, I haven't heard from him in 2 days. He has a desk job (in a very bad area) and can usually email me. But I haven't heard from him. I am so worried. I HATE THIS WAR!!!!

I had a night like that... I went to bed at 10:30 PM, did NOT turn the lights on for anything, did not get on the computer, nothing. And still... I couldn't get to sleep until around 4:30 AM. It was so annoying...

I seriously hate being awake knowing that I need to go to bed. Of course I haven't had a night like that in awhile, I take enough pills that knock me out, I've been SUPER DUPER tired lately, so I zonk right out when I hit the pillow... But what seems strange is when none of that stuff works, I lay in bed and pray... And that seems to make me sleepy enough to drift off.

I have those nights a lot. Not for some of the sad reasons you ladys have but just have always had what I call the night terrors. Wake up, lay in bed and the brain starts going through all the worse case scenarios of my life or the day or whatever else I can worry about. Everything always seems worse during those hours of the morning when you can't sleep. Maybe because at that time you can't do anything about it.
I play the name game. Done it for years, and it usually helps me go back to sleep by shutting my brain down.
First pick a letter, lets say the letter B. Think of famous people with the last name starting with B. Start alphabeticly (sp?)
A-B=Ann Bancroft
B-B= Bob Barker
C-B= Charlie Brown

Keep going till you fall asleep

I'm going to try that next time.... I wonder how many famous names I know...
