    Chief on the treadmill

    So in my thread in the fillies section, I mentioned that we put Chief on the treadmill.

    He sure is a pretty boy. So do you put him on the treadmill strictly for excercise?

    Yes. Just for exercise. He has tons of energy and it's a good way for him to burn it off too. We also take him on walks, but by the time 9pm rolls around, he's running a muck in our room.

    And if it's raining out he could still get his exercise without getting all muddy.

    Thanks! He's very eager to go on the treadmill. I think he's very fasinated that he really never move, but the stuff below his feet does.

    He's a very quick guy. I have to put him on 3.1 in order to make him trot... on 3 he'll have a very very quick walk and will trot sometimes
