Are they like midges/mosquito's?
They are also called red bugs, they are these tiny little
parasite bugs that live in tall grass and bite you, leaving
these red itchy dot-type rashes all over your legs, ankles,
anywhere!!

It's been awhile, but I'm back & back in the saddle!

Eww nasty little things. Those pics look quite painful. Does it itch then? I'd be no good with them, I'm always picking and scratching... can't leave anything alone.

:( I really feel for you...... Thank goodness we don't have anything like those in the UK, not yet anyhow.

Chiggers are nasty things and the bites are very itchy. I made the mistake of sitting in some grass at a family reunion the day before we had to fly to NY. You can guess where I got the chigger bites Not fun to be walking around an airport scratching your nether region. Plus having to sit for a long time. It was awful :(

There is also some stuff called Chiggerex that works really well. They sell it at wal mart.
ICE and Benadryl. You can also try alternative treatment which you didn't read from me(deodorant, works great). I didn't say a thing
