Christmas just around the corner!

It's funny because I swear no one in town had anything for halloween until the night of but for christmas, I have noticed tonight homes that have already started to put lights up EXCELLENT!

So here I am, tonight I put up one of three christmas trees. This one is a smaller one (*cough* only 6'5 feet tall ). It is located in the staircase above the door. Sorry for the quality, the photo was taken from my phone.
I have no idea what to set up on the right hand side of the tree, ideas welcome.

Two trees and a deer in between popping his head out of the two. So he is like behind the two but you can see his face. (just a thought)

Can that be done?

*shaking my head*... does anyone think of Thanksgiving anymore (but I guess there are people on here that don't celebrate that)???? Lol....

Here is was election, then wam, Christmas stuff everywhere in stores. We wont do any Christmas decorations till after Thanksgiving, otherwise that holiday doesnt really mean anything. You must have a split level home to be able to put that tall of a tree up, great work!!!

The tree looks great though!!!!

I have new ideas for this year's tree. We never have room around the tree due to all the gifts. Seth made out like a darn bandit last year.

oooohhh great tree! And some great ideas! I am worried about the deer and having a fire hazard tho. Hhmmmm I should see what can be done. Our house has 1 floor actually but most of the homes here have a ledge above the front like this one. I will try to get a different photo to show you :)

I have some gold painted paper mache type deer that would look Great in that corner. Two are standing and one is laying down.

You could always put up a santa figure or go cute-sie and put a big penguin or large stuffed teddy bear up there too.

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.
